Hungarian-Missouri Educational Partnership – Scholarship opportunity

The Hungarian-Missouri Educational Partnership at Saint Louis University (HMEP- SLU) is an interdisciplinary center focused on Central Europe and housed within the Boeing Institute for International Business at the Chaifetz School of Business.

HMEP-SLU Scholarship

HMEP-SLU scholarships are awarded to selected candidates from Central European countries to pursue a graduate business degree at Saint Louis University. Scholarship awards cover full tuition for the graduate business program chosen. In some cases, assistance for room and board and/or books may be available, depending on financial need.

The scholarship can apply to any of the following programs:

– Executive Master of International Business (EMIB)
– Master of Science in Applied Financial Economics
– Master of Science in Supply Chain Management
– Professional MBA

The tentative deadline to submit an application for the 2022 HMEP scholarship is: October 15, 2021.

Külügyi és Külgazdasági Intézet – 2021 őszi szakmai gyakorlati program

A Külügyi és Külgazdasági Intézet 2021 őszén is elindítja szakmai gyakorlati programját. A program során a gyakornokok kutatásmódszertani foglalkozások mellett látogatásokat tesznek különböző, a külpolitika egyes területeivel foglalkozó intézményekhez és szervezeti egységekhez, miközben egy számukra kijelölt mentor mellett végeznek kutatást és kapcsolódnak be az Intézet munkájába.

Az idei jelentkezési időszak újdonsága, hogy vidéki felsőoktatási intézmények hallgatóinak is lehetőséget biztosítanak a programban való részvételhez.

ESC önkéntes programok 2021

A Fekete Sereg Egyesület és az Európai Szolidaritási Testület felhívja a 18 és 30 év közötti útkereső fiatalok figyelmét az ESC önkéntes programra, melynek keretében 3 különböző lokáció is várja a jelentkezéseteket!

Berlin:

A 2021-ben az Európai Önkéntesség Fővárosa címet is birtokló német nagyvárosban, óvodában, napközi otthonban van lehetőség a segítségnyújtásra. A programban, mely 2021 szeptemberében indul és 10 hónapos időszakot fed le, fedezik az útiköltséget 275 euróig, valamint szállást és étkezési hozzájárulást is biztosítanak.

Kézdivásárhely:

Erdély legkeletibb részén fekvő magyar többségű városkában 2021 májusától indul a projekt és 9-12 hónapon keresztül tart. Az önkénteseknek iskola utáni ifjúsági és sportprogramok-foglalkozások megszervezése és lebonyolítása valamint audiovizuális anyagok készítése lesz a feladat A program fedezi az utazást, a szállást, étkezést és zsebpénzt is biztosít.

Kokkola:

A Finnország nyugati részén elterülő városba 2021. nyarán 3 alkalommal is lehetőségetek lehet önkénteskedni.

2021. május 30. – június 30. – Nyári táborok lebonyolítása, programok szervezése és vezetése.

2021. június 27. – augusztus 8. – Egy ifjúsági foci torna és egy gyerektábor lebonyolítása, valamint az ifjúsági központ körüli munkák segítése.

2021. augusztus 15. – szeptember 25. – Szabadban végezhető könnyebb fizikai munkák, barkácsolás, fából kiépített ösvényeket rendbe tartása.

Mindhárom programban 5 napos felkészülési tréning lesz, mely után heti kb. 35 óra munkaidőt kell eltölteni, a munkát egy kijelölt mentor folyamatosan segíti.

A résztvevők számára, szállás, munkanapokon ebéd és étkezési hozzájárulás valamint a közlekedéshez kerékpár biztosított. A programban az utazás költségét 275 euróig térítik és balesetbiztosítást is kötnek az önkéntesekre.

Guest Lecture Series on Sustainable Development Goals – Spring 2021

For the upcoming events, ITS invites students and global audience to enjoy 40 selected lectures on GLS SDGs for Spring 2021 (March-June 2021). Each meeting will be conducted every Tuesday and Wednesday that consists of a 100-minute public lecture and Q&A session.

GLS SDGs is free of charge and the registration will be opened every Thursday and will be closed every Monday prior to the individual event.

Participants can also do a one-time registration in which they can select individual events they are interested in. Zoom link will be sent to the registrants prior to the event.

They also provide a certificate of participation for international students who have attended at least 8 meetings (from the total meetings).

Participants who would have attended at least 10 meetings of GLS SDGs will be eligible to enter an international competition on SDGs (to be announced) to win a short program scholarship at ITS.

ESPA aims to make the transition to come to a foreign country as easy and stress free as possible, especially in the current circumstances, so they have already secured the housing for the students and it will be paid for by the host company.

There are no fees for students or universities to use their services.

The benefits:

– Paid Accommodation.
– Paid Utility Bills (electricity, gas, water and council tax) + Internet Access.
– Commuter travel to work (accommodation will be found within an acceptable commuting distance from the workplace, if that requires more than a sensible walk then a bus/train ticket will be provided).

This will be sourced and managed on the students behalf by ESPA. These benefits have an approximate value of 700€-1000€ per month (depending on location). There is no salary over and above the benefits offered, unless specifically stated as the students keeps their whole Erasmus+ grant. For all internships over 6 months or remote, additional benefits will be paid.
