Please register to the program in advance in the American Corner as our seating capacity is limited.

Love Letters performed by the Confuse-A-Cat Ltd. English Language Theater Program
“I feel most alive when I’m writing things down. I like the pictures more than the words. I love writing you. You most of all. To write a boy?! I enclose a picture instead. I feel like a true lover when I am writing you. You could start telephoning me. You can’t hang up on letters. You can tear them up, though. You can tear me up and throw me out or keep me and read me today, tomorrow, any time you want until you die.
This play is not a drippy love story. We see a lifelong “relationship” forming with situations that are familiar to us all: the feeling of success and loneliness, missed opportunities, and in general the search for something that makes our lives complete.
The show won Best Play, Best Direction and Best Actress Awards at the 3rd National English Language Drama Festival in Veszprém in 2011. Mr. Pál Óberfrank, Head of the jury and director of Petőfi Theater in Veszprém officially invited the show to be performed again in February 2012. Played with full house at the University of Debrecen four times and at Central European University, Budapest.
