Inventory Controller

Summary of the role:
The key functions of the role are to support the Materials department with inventory analyses and inventory parameter settings in the ERP system to achieve the required service level and optimal inventory value at the same time. This role is specified in non-stocked item inventory controlling.

Responsibilities:
– Create production and logistics related analyses
– Excess and Obsolete analysis of D items, manage the write off and scrap process
– Cooperate with intercompany sites in terms of offering / selling excess inventory
– Manage reengineering of nonstock items, analyze MOQ
– Support management decisions to achieve optimal ITO
– Create inventory analyses, maintain inventory parameter settings
– Data collection and data maintenance in the ERP system (Oracle)
– Working independently but also establish and maintain good working relationships throughout the logistics and factory team
– Development & improvement of inventory processes

The ideal candidate has:
– Degree in logistics, engineering or economics
– Fluent in English, written and spoken
– Strong IT skills – Windows based systems (Excel, Access, database), VB Macro and SQE is preferred
– Engineering background: Technical drawing interpretation, materials
– Solid previous experience in similar role: inventory analyst, master scheduler
– Oracle production process experience is preferred
– Strong communication skills and business acumen
– Strong team player & self-starter attitude
– Action oriented, enjoys development activities
– Able to manage complexity
